Sabouraud Dextrose Agar is used for isolation and cultivation of Yeasts, Moulds and Aciduric Bacteria from pharmaceutical products in accordance with microbial limit testing by harmonized methodology of USP/EP/BP/JP/IP.
Sabouraud Dextrose Agar is recommended by the USP/EP/BP/JP/IP in Microbial Limit Tests for performing total yeast and mould count and is included in the Bacteriological Analytical Manual for food testing.
