An antibiotic supplement recommended for selective isolation of Campylobacter species.
Campylobacter Agar Base is used as a highly nutritious basal medium, which after appropriate additions, is used for selective isolation of Campylobacter jejuni from fecal specimens, food and environmental specimens. Presence of Amphotericin B in Blaser-Wang Supplement markedly or completely inhibits growth of fungi and Cephalothin incorporated later in the formula improved inhibition of normal enteric formula.
