Anaerobic Agar Plate is used for cultivation of anaerobic microorganisms.

Anaerobic Agar was originally designed for surface cultivation of members of the genus Clostridium and other anaerobic organisms on plates. This medium is suitable for isolation of facultative and obligate anaerobes.
