Soya Lecithin is used as a natural emulsifier or stabilizer in various foods.

Soya Lecithin is extracted from raw soyabeans and has low solubility in water, but is an excellent emulsifier. It is used for applications in animal feed, pharmaceuticals, paints, and other industrial applications.

Appearance: Light tan to medium yellow, without black spots.
Solubility: Insoluble in water, but swells up forming colloidal suspension.
                Partially soluble in about cold, absolute alcohol and in chloroform.
pH after autoclaving: 6.0 - 7.0
